Two! What?

I had to include 'What?' as part of this title because Edith has started saying 'What?" when she can't believe something that just happened or was said. The funny thing is that she says it like a question-statement like her Auntie Art. It's hard to describe the inflection, but it's hilarious.

Yes, Edith is really two. Crazy! Before we get to the party we had tonight, I suppose we should cover the rest of the month..

Edith has definite opinions about what she wears and she definitely has her own style. She loves to don items of her brothers' clothing when she comes across them. This past month she went through a big-cleats phase, which was a little nerve wracking. The spiral staircase can be treacherous even without 6-sizes-too-big cleats on your feet. And Edith loves to wear winter hats (especially Bud's cool blue and red one). The hat has to be pulled down low over her eyes, though, and if you try to 'fix' it for her she'll squawk at you and tug it back down.

I love how you can see Edith's personality in what she chooses to wear and how she wears it. She rocks the look. Totally.

Edith still loves purses, even things that aren't really purses. It's all about pretending and Edith is a good pretender.

And she hates getting stuck in little boxes, especially when her mom won't save her until she takes a photo first.

Edith is still quite flexible...

...and still hates having her photo taken.

She loves to spend time with her family...

...especially if 'nuggling' is involved.

Edith loves doing so many things on her own, too (she's so independent!)...

...but she sometimes isn't very happy when you tell her she has to be done doing them.

Edith tells the best jokes...

...but still loses her sense of humor when she gets her hair washed.

Edith still loves to go to the bread store for a snack...

...just don't try to take her picture while you're there.

Yikes! We love you Edith!

(This post is tremendously long so I should probably cover tonight's celebration in its own post. You're welcome. Just read it and comment to show your appreciation.)

She is too cute! Love her expressions. The one of her reading (resting on Big's shoulder) with her brother is my fave!

Oh, the whole post was priceless. The pictures and your commentary. AWESOME.

Seems like yesterday you posted the pregnancy picture with the pink balloons.

Love her face!!! And I really need to hear this "what" that apparently sounds so much like mine. :)
