Ballet Girl

Last week, Pen's ballet school held a parent observation class so we could check out what they've been up to. I was happy to go, excited to see her progress and take pictures. I think it was the taking pictures part that Pen was a little less than enthusiastic about. Can you tell?

If you've been following this blog for very long, it shouldn't surprise you to know she was out of luck.

Pictures are what I do.

I am so impressed with how well Pen has been doing. She is so poised and graceful-- she really works hard to try to become the dancer she hopes to be. I am proud of her determination and drive.

And next week, after only 2 years of taking ballet, Pen gets pointe shoes. A reward for all of her hard work. Way to go, Pen!

Way to go, Pen!! I have a feeling Leyton is going to feel that way about Aunt Carrie & her camera, but he too will soon realize he's outta luck. I like your line - it's what I do! : )
