Edith!
Bud really wanted to call the new baby Edith in real life, but since we didn't, I decided it would be great to use it here on the blog.
I have been so caught up in the moment with Edith, that I have been a tad remiss at taking pictures of her. Between feeling like I've been hit by a truck and being worried that maybe I've tightened the cannula too much on one side and her nose is going to grow crooked, well, let's just say I've been absorbed.
I have found myself kind of wishing that we could skip ahead a few months, to where maybe things are a little less scary and our life has found more of a rhythm. But, I think I'd be better off just taking each day as it comes and try to enjoy. I will try to be better at capturing the moment, instead.
That's my plan.

Edith! :)
Good pick, Bud.
Now every time I see her, I'll start singing, "Those were the da-a-a-ays." Love that serious look on her little face. And I way love those jammies, which I should have gotten in every size. If you have to have pink, that's an awfully nice shade of it.
I think she does look a little concerned, but with great parents and siblings, what's to worry? I think she'll be half grown by the time we see her. Love you all and especially Edith!
Okay, I didn't see that coming! Edith. I love it. How cute is Bud? :) Well, I see it this way--if the pictures you take are phenomenal, it's okay to be "a tad remiss." All the ones I've seen so far are great, and it's the whole quality vs. quantity thing. Besides, once the oxygen stuff goes its merry way and you're not so distracted, you'll get the rhythm. Welcome, Edith!
Love you Edith, and Bud, and Big, and Pen, and Ginger. You too Rophone and Mom to the kids. Love the photography.
