The Art of the Tantrum

As I mentioned in my last post, Edith has perfected the art of the tantrum. And because they only last a minute or two, we find them to be funny and adorable. It's a perfect situation-- she gets to get her mad on and let out some steam, we get a little chuckle, and then we all move on.

I am going to post the photos of the tantrum she performed the other day in the exact order I took them, so you can experience her tantrum exactly as I did. Here we go:

"I thought you were going to pick me up."

"Seriously, you're not going to pick me up?"

"What about you? Are you gonna do something?"

"I have the lamest family in the world! They abandoned me in my time of need and I'm terribly upset by it. My almost-thirteen-year-old sister is right!"

"I am seriously so mad about this that I am going to kill you with my laser beam eyes! Unless my head explodes first!"

"Woah. That took a lot of energy. I feel like I'm running out of steam."

"Okay. A break is definitely in order. Why was I crying, anyway?"

"Oh, now I remember. Mean Mom. She really hurt my feelings"

"And she made me mad, that's right."

"Hey, I've got good lungs! I wonder how long I can sustain a yell."

Petering out... stick with it...

"Ooh! What a pretty dress!"

The End.

All too funny! What was the actual time frame?

It lasted about a minute or minute and a half in its entirety.
